I recently put on OEM brembo rotors and the back discs are not moving freely without the e-brake on. Do the back pistons on the calipers twist in? i tried c-clamping them in but they did not move too much. help'd be appreciated:cool:

they rotate back in, clockwise, iirc. your local auto parts store probably sells a tool to accomplish this, however it CAN (although it's not a good idea to) be done with needlenose pliers.

Get the tool and save your hands... I dont know if mine are just very hard to get in or if its this way with them all... I used needle nose and I cramper up my hand on the second one.. It also slips off alot and you could poke your seal... (Not good) I am guna get the tool next time I do mine.

i paid $8 for the tool..so it's not too expensive. It looks like a little weird hollow cube. You might have a hell of a time finding one..i had to go to 4 different stores.

did it fine with needlenose pliers

be gentle and take your time.

Lubricate the slider pins when your in there, and use some never sieze (just a very thin film) on the back of the rotors where they press against the...hub (?)

this makes things easier next time to work on and more pleasurable to do your own brakes

good luck
