Ok, so recently I visited the girl I was dating and she complimented my cologne and said guys never wear cologne anymore (don't know if that's true or not) but it just made me think of how many compliments I actually get with this cologne. So decided to start a nice thread to get some good suggestions on colognes that the ladies love.

Keneth Cole Black was probably the last decent smelling colon I had the pleasure of smelling, now it just reminds me of burbank and glendale anytime I smell that shit or going to some gay ass club. everyone smells like a gallon of colon and pukefume.

it doesn't mask the smell of vodka or whatever else you drink seeeping out of your pores. It just makes it worse people!

I just really, really wanted to quote this for truth. For both parts (Eric was referring to the Drakker sent deoterant and cologne).

But please guys don't abuse these wonderful scents by spraying it everywhere 8 times. I usually (for the spray bottles) spray once on my chest, and once on my forearm area and kinda try to spread it to my other forearm area. That is two sprays total. Done and done.

I'm wondering if I should try out some other colognes. We just got a new cologne at Express recently, anyone try it out yet? I kinda like it but it has a lot of spice to it, but the spice fades pretty quickly.

Never bought cologne but I do get them as gifts and at work for free. Right now I have Armani Di Gio, Black and some other Armani one. My favorite that I have right now is Hermes Terre D'Orange or something like that, it's smells like freshly peeled oranges at first but then fades into a very light scent.

I use Yves Saint Laurent. Both the light and dark versions of their cologne depending on my mood really. Smells real good.

Occasionally use Jean Paul Gaultier as well.

Looking for another new scent though. Everyone rocks that ADG! My brother got that diesel for Christmas, smells pretty good and the bottle is nice.

Marc Jacobs Bang! smells pretty good, IMO. Has a strong spicy smell to it but very masculine.

I think acqua di gio is a very average scent IMO, youll smell like the 5million other dudes that wear the same thing.
its smells ok, i guess its just too common for me, at least 3 of my close friends have it or have had it.

Avon made a bunch of those, I've found a couple. Smell like shit, IMO, but neat bottles.

You guys may laugh but but I wear Derek Jeter cologne. There's a blue one that's more fruity/energetic I wear during the day, and a black one that's a little more musky I wear at night sometimes. For special occasions I wear D&G (#5?) that my momma got me; it smells delicious.

Acqua Di Gio. I know it is played out, and that is probably why I dont wear it that much anymore. It gets anoying walking around and catching a wiff of every other guy and smelling the same shit your wearing.

It is funny this thread started because I have been thinking about getting some new stuff soon.

Word of advice though, if you dont want to break your balls on good shit, go to the good swap meets, got real deal Acqua Di Gio for 45$. They have all kinds of burberry and all that shit too.

Funny story that is related to this, last night at work( valet) this guy shows up to the wedding I am parking for( it is a Lebanese wedding) and has all this attitude about giving him a minute, so he closes his door pulls out a dark blue block shaped bottle and started spraying that shit on him like it was bug repellent and he was being attacked by a swarm of bees in his car. Like not over exaggerating, over 12 sprays to the neck, chest, underarms, wrists, and back to the chest, ( I was seriously waiting for him to open his mouth and spray it like banaca), he exits the car, I made another guy park it, the guy stood outside for a minute or two after and you could smell him for hours later.

So gross, can you imagine being a girl who kisses that guy on the neck? Probably get alcohol poisoning. Or accidentally catch himself on fire who know, but no matter how good it smelled, Ill never want to smell that crap again.

You never need more than one spray, unless your trying to cover up something, like weed, alcohol, or the fact that you have not showered in the past day or two.
