That's the how-to i was gonna use. Is it required to jack either end of the car up to get fluid all out, or just leave it level? Cause I'm sure my carport is pretty level as is, and unless jack/jack stands are needed to get all the fluid out or some other reason, I think I can make do with out em as far as reaching the drain plugs. I managae to change my exhaust hangers without even raising the car so I think I could make do in this situation lol?
Also do the plugs use any sorta crush washer that needs to replace, or anything needed to ensure no leaks?
thanks for any input

You do not need to jack the car up to get the fluid out if you think you can reach the plugs, might make things easier to fill though. No crush washers.

RTV on the plug threads can't hurt to seal them up.

Open both filler and drain plugs. If you want to help drain the gear oil, raise the front end up as high as possible.

Yeah I think I should, I always face the the fill one when I adjust my struts, i have to get underneath the rear of the car to do that, so that and putting the exhaust hangers on is what makes me think I can do with out a jack.
Thanks for the advice to all who posted

The gas tank gets in the way of trying to fill up the filler plug so you'll need to figure out some way to do it. You'll see when you try to put the bottle up to it.

That's pretty damn slick, and I've worked on cars/trucks forever at our shop and never heard of the 'drill pump'.
For the 240 crowd who don't wanna spring 15 bucks for the stuff, it's easy to get length of hose, use an old funnel, and just run the hose out through the wheel to fill up the diff. I've used this for home jobs and it works great.
