Hey i have been trying to research different Intercooler options trying to make some decisions. Just wondering what everyones input was since i know alot of you are running different models.
I have noticed many people using Greddy VSPL(cheapest??) And the Blitz LM in at a close second. If it helps, this will be goin on a S13 with S13 DET, also with a Full Hotpipe w/ HKS SSQV BOV, i want the kit with not just the best performance but the best pipeing also.
I will add to this in about an hour because im at work now and don't know my imagestation password:D
So just make this the official "Intercooler Review Thread" and post your pros and cons for different FMIC's.
Thanks:D

i am running the Greddy VSPL with Blitz s14 piping. "Why?" you ask...well good question.:D Got the FMIC used for $250 and the piping off of e-bay far $199. If you do the math you will see that I got a great deal.

The difference was amazing. The main difference that you will notice will be that the car is fast all the time. Not just when it's cold out or you just started on your trip. The gains are big and they are dyno proven (230hp 252lb/ft @ 14psi w/ bolt-ons) a gain of 30hp and 50lb/ft of torque! Well worth the $450 that I paid for the setup.

I noticed that you have a s13. I suggest getting a bigger radiator and either use the clutch fan or two electrics. You will overheat with a FMIC. I had to cut holes in my bumper and i am now in the process of getting a Koyo or a GP sports radiator. She's fine for highway driving and around town (even in the heat) but when I start to really bang on her is when the temp goes up.
