205/what? 205/50, 205/55, or 205/60?
Either way, it doesn't look out of the ordinary to me.
Edit: never mind, just saw 205/60 on the sidewall in the first picture. It's definitely normal, then. 205/60 is a nice tall tire, so you'll get less gap than a lot of the people here that run 205/55's etc.

oh ok i was just suprised that it was so low but yea are they 205/60s
i guess if i had 195s it probobly would look funny huh
ooops those are 205 in rear not 250s

ummm do you understand what the numbers mean? because the 205 means the width... so 195 wouldnt matter how it looks fomr the profile.. the sidewall matters.. which u'rs is 60..
Muzzy

oh i thought 205 was the radius fo the tire or somethin...
well im learnin...i never fully understood the numbers on the tire

width/%of width that the sidewall height is/wheel diameter
hey muzzy this is kinda OT, but you wouldn't happen to have full pics of your car w/the the drop would you?
Muzzy

At least we now have closure to this thread. I hate when people leave it up in the air. How does the ride feel anyways?
Muzzy

feels fine....read my review of them
i love them...not bouncy. handles real well in corners...less "Gs"
body roll almost non existant

did the spring sag a little after you wore it down for a while? I like that drop, but I prefer a little lower. looks great tho!
Muzzy
09-25-2003, 11:42 AM
...no they may have settled but not saged

I got the S.Tech springs by tein as well, great springs at a great price. I picked up mine for 130 but usually they price at around 150-180. Even at the 180 price its better than some eibachs. If you want a really lower drop go with the 2" lower eibachs, but the s.techs are great if you live in "the city" where theres potholes hills and all that kind of crap. It just enough to look good and handle but not have ur bumper fly off if u go into a driveway =D

nah s techs are guaranteed not to sag, mine haven't sagged noticeably in the 5 or so months I've had them.

Now I don't know whether to go with the stiffer RS*R's or the S Tech's. Anyone want to give me a ride that has either or?:D
Muzzy
09-25-2003, 09:47 PM
hhmmm...idk if i would want stiffer springs...its already not fun hittin bumps and crap
it would handle better im sure....but i could be rough as a daily driver...idk

I guess my AGX will now say hello to the S Techs. Thanks.
Muzzy

welcome...go ahead and try the RS*Rs
dont wanna discourage u.....bumps arent fun period.
my S. Tech give a overall great ride

I think I would benifit more from the RS*R's if I had some custom valving done to my AGX or to some Konis. S. Techs should compliment the AGX fairly well for the driving I do.

i certainly like my s.techs and agx's
Muzzy

well..goin from stock to S.techs...u will notice a nice drop and significantly better handling...i did...partly due to the fact i did a suspension rebuild too. nismo, energy, and moog stuff
energy on the sway bars nismo on the T/C and some other part....and moog tie rod ends and "spindle retainers"...wut ever they are called

yeah same with me, poly bushings, new control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends, and I love mine as a daily driver with S techs and kyb. if you actually drive your car on WV roads I wouldn't want anything stiffer, it can be punishing if the roads are in bad shape.

More "Gs" would be better in handling....
Muzzy
09-26-2003, 06:32 AM
....no u want less "Gs"
y would u want more??
isnt tha wut u are trying to fight with harder springs??

Don't know what you're talkin bout now but I was refering to lateral G's.
Andrew Bohan
09-26-2003, 11:19 AM
suspension doesn't reduce G's....going slower does that....
better suspension makes the car able to handle MORE G's
Muzzy
09-26-2003, 01:51 PM
hhmmm...maybe im thinkin of body roll...
well wutever all i know is i can corner harder and faster.
...ok ic...yea it does handle more "Gs"
