Exhaust Mani. Wrap

Is it really worth it to wrap your exhaust mani. minus the heat shield in the wrap? What is it made out of and how much does it usually cost? Thanks.

the exhast wrap is worth putting it on if you have exhaust and aftermarket header. it helps increase velocity=more hp. I think it cost about $30, and you have to know how to put it on.

It's only hard in that you should put it on with the manifold off. Hot gas flows faster than cold gas, just like liquid. (think molasses), and the faster the hot gas can flow away from the turbine, the easier it'll be for the turbine to spin.
