Ok so I stopped buying tires for my car and have been looking in to pocket projectors for awhile. For those of you who know me, I'm always broke and end up buying a retarded amount of shit whenever I run in to a bit of cash. Here's the newest one that I'm super stoked about.

Its an AAXA P2 pocket projector.
Basically, I've been holding out on buying one for a few reasons. The technology on most of the pocket projectors that I've seen reviewed so far aren't bright enough for what I'm trying to use it for. I believe the ones I've looked at (aaxa p1, optoma, wowwee, eyeclopse, etc) are like 10lumens and below. They're good enough for setting up in a dark room or watching movies at night on your ceiling (which is also rad), but I needed something that I could JUSTIFY myself in buying. At the same time, they're like 100 bones cheaper than the aaxa P2 pocket projector.
So this new unit offers 33-lumens (3x the steez) and is perfect for what I wanna do. I plan on taking it out to wedding shoots and playing slide shows for the smokers' patio. Something simple and isn't as unprofessional as my laptop.

The picture and brightness are pretty decent with only window light coming through. Plus, it fits in my pocket.
My first real reason (other than professional reasons) in buying the aaxa p2 is that I plan on setting up either a way to play movies or video games in my bathroom. The pocket projector came with VGA (computer hookup) and composite lines as well as a USB wire to put files directly on to the aaxa itself. Pics soon....
The second reason in buying it is to use as a sweet date idea (see my post about my date ideas site). I'm gonna set up a little drive-in movie type deal. ;)
Overall I'm stoked that I spent the extra dough ($350 on AAXA P2 Pico Projector - LCoS Based Hand-held Pocket Projector - LED Micro Projector (http://www.aaxatech.com/products/p2_pico_projector.htm) ) for this model. Should help attract some potential wedding clients.
