I'm buying 18'' this week and I need to know an Idea of what offset to ask for. I have a set of Tein HE on my 91 s13, and I know there is some fitment problems, and almost ALL the searchs I've done have pulled up people that are dealing with smaller wheels. I'm wanting to go as WIDE as i can with the rims and tires, like a 18X8 or 18x8.5 and like a 235/40/18 or so.. I'm wanting to push the limmit with size........ Anyhoo I know some of you are SICK of these Offset posts, but show a little love to the F.N.G,

I was told 18x9 in the back with a 34-35 offset. I'm still wondering the same question though.

I can't wait for you to get your rims.......cause they probely...
1. will not fit 18x7.5 hahhaha 40 offset! have fun hitting coilovers
2.ou will have that gay sunken in fender look!
3. will have a ugly, flexing buldged tire with that pizza cutter width!
HAVE FUN!

A friend of mine has HE's on his S14. 18x10 +38 in the rear, and 18x9 +30 in the front. Perfectly flush with fenders and clear coilovers. I'm not exactly sure on the offsets but i'm within 5mm, i think on the positive side. He's running 4 degrees of camber tho....

about the only comments that I can respond to at this time is,
1.they don't looked tucked te me (see for yourself)
2. a 225/40/18 that side wall will not flex that much, plus I don't have to get that size, I can buy a set of lower pro Tires, but I don't want to bend the rims on these ****ty roads we got around here..
3. I plan on buying another set of rims and slicks or drag radials for track use only
I dont realy care to look pretty at the track, plus I know that 18'' are not the best choice in a track rim
4. I use to work at the shop where I'm buying them, and I don't have to take them if they don't fit the way I want. I'll just buy somthing else if its not what i want

Rick,
I think the wheels actually look pretty good. The wheel and the size is not my taste at all, but it doesn't look bad. The offset seems to be fine. I only like 15 -17" rims on S13, but thats just me. Good luck.

I would like to take this oppertunity to point out that NiteKids has no idea what hes talking about, wich doesn't surprise me at all..
the fronts needed a (SMALL)and i do meen small spacer, but (ONLY) the fronts, and they allmost stick out to far,but they are just what i wanted..
I could have gone with a 215/40/18 or a 205/40/18 and then i wouldn't need a spacer at all, but like a said before the roads around here are crapy so i kinda need a some what normal side wall.
Oh yeah, and I did HAVE FUN!!!:D
