Energy Suspension front strut rod bushing

I've burned out the rubber from the middle of them and now there are two metal rings on the end. Do I just pound the ever-living crap out of them to remove them? I'm at a loss here, any advice is good advice, thank you.

I assume you mean T/C rods.. My advise is use a vise, and a Big Hammer, and that same torch. Heat up the end of the TC rod, and bag the ring uot with the hammer and a pipe of some sort.
