How different is the engine harness wiring for swapping an s13 sr20det redtop/backtop into a 95+ s14. Cause I've already seen threads on "how-to's" for the s13 sr20det into an s13 chassis. But I can't find a diagram on the above wiring. I'm sure it's been done. Can anyone help direct me to where I can find a diagram of it. Illustrated pictures would be best of course. Thanks!

Everything on the S14 is more complicated since everything is routed through the big F3 plug under the dash. The ECCS relay and all power comes through this plug.

Pull out the FSM and find my other thread on the bare minimum to make an S13 SR run. Find the suitable wires on the F3 plug and connect them to the battery plugs on the S13 engine harness.

Unfortunately for you the AC info is not in that page, but it is easy to wire up. Instead of trying to build an intermediary harness like he did, just hardwire the whole thing. Also, don't cut off the wiper plugs as they are the correct lenght already. Like stated above, all your work will be at the F3 plug.

I just did an S13 SR today. The lower harness is the complicated one. You have to route each connector to the correct pin on the body harness.

The easiest way is to keep the S14 engine harness intact because this will have the wipers and ABS wiring built in.

On the S13 SR engine harness, you need to give main switched power, constant power, fuel pump, and start signal. These need to tie to the S14 F3 plug and tie to the S13 F1 next to the ECU and the grey and brown plugs next to the battery.

The rest is just for the gauges and accessories.

Also look for the guide on ebay, its 20 bucks, has all the diagrams, and tells you exactly what to do...

I would like to add my reverse lights do not work on my swap. It seems to be a common thing, I have the sensor hooked up and the wiring is right, however none of it has been volt tested yet. Was waiting on a response from g6civx in another thread concerning this.

I can get the reverse lights to work on the S14. It depends if the car is auto or manual as each has its own reverse lights wiring on the body.

Just figure out where your reverse lights are and connect to the reverse switch.

It's easy. I just did one today.

If your car was auto, the reverse lights are wired to E13. This used to be the inhibitor switch. Grab the pigtail and wire the Green and Red wires on the body harness to the wires on the reverse lights.

If your car was manual, get the E202 connector. Cut the pigtail. Connect the Green and Green/White wires to the reverse switch.

You can also do a custom wiring job if you want. Get switched power to trigger a relay. Put a 7.5A fuse on power to the relay. Connect the output of the relay to the reverse switch, then back to the back up lamps on the rear of the car.

I think I will give the E202 thing a try sometime this week, I here we have thunderstorms coming so no electrical work for me...

Remember that the E202 connector on the lower harness plugs into the E19 connector on the body.

If you cant figure it out or want someone else to do everything/test it all let me know. I can even get you a harness made from scratch for the LHD chassis. No core charge and it has an unlimited startup warranty. I can get it to you at a good price too. LMK

This is my lower harness wiring. all of the drawings indicate you're looking at the male end of the plug and not the REAR of the plug like the fsm pictures. 2 and 6 on E202 obviously go to E213 which is for the reverse lights. Hence why I figured maybe if I switched 2 and 6 around on E202 maybe it will fix my issue with the lights not coming on when in reverse.

Don't try to colour match based on E202. You need to look at the colours on the body harness as Nissan has a habit of jumping colours across the lower harness connector.

Switching the wires backward won't matter. You need to check the 7.5A fuse for the backup lights. Then check pin 2 on E19/E202 to see if you're getting switched current. Then check the reverse switch itself for continuity. Then back to pin 6 on E19/E202. Then to the reverse bulbs and ground.
