Im misshifted my car going into 4th and reved all the way to 8000 by accident. Could there be harm to my car in the future? Right now it runs good. Im worried something might break in the future. any help will be great

haha..i did the same
80mph on the freeway in 5th..downshift..oh crap that's second gear. haha
no problem since (about 8K miles later)
just dont to it often
overrev? yeah i've done that too hahaha (at the track)..:p
grinded some nice gears too haha..
its a KA replaceable and cheap. nothing to lose sleep over. make sure you change your fluids often and take care of it and it will last a LOOOONG TIME (like kooks 220,000+ miles!!! stock ka power!!! )

I went to 8000 for like a second and let off real quick. It really scared the crap out of me though, i thought the engine blew or something. but so far the engine runs like it always has, hope it stays that way for along time. Plus i have only 34000 miles on my KA so i hope it will last.

that short? ive banged off redline numerous times.. no worries. runs great. takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'...clickin'..er..running a-ok!
dont worry. it will last.
just maintain regularly and you'll be fine.
lmao I have bounced mine off the red so many times. For the first year I had this car it was Red line every stop light. (I'm not even kidding) now I'm nice to my car and only go up to 6k rpm :) hehe
EDIT: I'm dislexic have poor grammer and cant spell. Good thing I fix computers for a living.

wouldnt the ecu enforce the fuel cut preventing damage as soon as you went past redline? i myself have bounced my car off the red a few times. im just wondering, wouldnt the ecu function quicker than our brains and so by the time you missed a gear and saw your tach jump to 8k. the ecu would have already made the positive corrections.

ECU can control fuel. It canNOT, however, control mechanical connections. If you go from 3rd, to 2nd at redline, you WILL go way past redline and run the risk of popping your motor. Yes, the ECU won't be sending fuel at that time, but the motor will physically be turning past the point of no return.
