Just got this car: 1989 with 190k miles. runs pretty strong. paid $900, but I didn't check the botom of the car before buying it.. :duh:
it's got Z brakes, and aftermarket clutch..and bunch of wires and sensors just hanging in the bay..:ugh:
is it worth fixing it? is it fixable?

Wow, what a SNIP. Try helping someone instead of being a dickhead.

And to the poster, anything is fixable with money and/or skills.

Except that he's not just showing off. He's asking about fixing the rust.

Now, while he could search around and find other threads where cars with WORSE rust than what he has shown were fixed, this question shouldn't be asked in the Picture Thread.

However, even JEDI's "n00b-bashing" did not call for the derogatory statement by DeathMetal, so your are now Pinked for a month.

OP, good luck with you car, and Search around harder before starting new threads. Yes, the rust CAN be fixed, the frame rails CAN be replaced. Whether or not you want to tackle a project like that, is entirely up to you.

There is your answer. This is now closed. :lockd:
