Your harness should be attached to the main hoop, and not that far back on the cage.

I'd say ditch the harnesses....
Sorry. I'm no help.

hmmm, Well maybe i could attach it to the floor/rear seat area since i have a cage, i *should* be safe?

Why's that?
car's gonna see Road America a few times this year, with a possibility of 2 other road courses also, will see some drag strip runs.

i don't see a good place to mount a harness on that cage. and the floor will put a weird angle on the harness..
fyi i have those pink harnesses haha

Why don't you have someone weld in a harness bar on the hoop, and do it right with a wrap around..
I have the bolt in harness in purple.
I also agree, get another bar welded on there and bolt it to that.

this would be your best option IMO.

Ditto with the new bar welded in - get the correct angle and distance then :)
What cage is that by the way ?

Looks strikingly similar to the Cusco cage in my S14.
It would be best to add a bar on the main hoop and use wrap-around harnesses with it.
Also be sure to reinforce the floor where the cage bolts to - looking at my cage, it's bolted to what I think is the weakest part of the floor. In the event of an accident, it may do me more harm than good, which is why it's being removed soon.
