FS: 1989 240sx Coupe (San Gabriel Valley)

For sale is a black manual 1989 240sx Coupe. The car has a clean title and on the odometer is 162k miles. The car was originally equipped with the HUD. The original cluster stopped rolling and the HUD stopped showing, so an additional HUD cluster will be thrown in with the car. Other than the Trust SP axle-back (still have stock muffler), removable C-pillar bar, and the Silvia front-end (dual beam projectors), the car is completely stock. I originally picked this car up in 2005 as a project that I wanted to pursue, but the lack of funds and interest has prevented that from happening. The car runs but not quite as it should as there is a slight hesitation when trying to rev above 4000 rpm. At least to me, my finger is pointed at the distributor as I just replaced the spark plugs. The ideal buyer of this vehicle would be one that has basic mechanical knowledge, wants to do an engine swap, but still wants a car they can drive in the mean time. I am asking $1,500 for this car and I'm located in Rowland Heights. Thanks.

The car is stick. 5spd manual. I don't currently have any interior pictures, but I'll work my way into taking some. Here is a picture of the engine bay. While the driver side light isn't lined up, this is a VERY easy fix if you have a drill.
I hope that this doesn't count as one of my bumps :hyper:

Not sure if it's just me. But it looks like the rear bumper is a bit crooked? And is that a dent on the driverside right by the door? Just wondering, besides that, looks good. I might consider this. When are you available? Are the tags/registration up to date? Does it pass smog? Any check engine light codes? Thanks

- The bumper isn't crooked, but the fenders aren't aligned, therefore the lights seem crooked. I'll try to work on it this weekend.
- Tag/registration will be taken care of by Friday. I've never had a problem smogging this car.

Some other info regarding my coupe.

- Yes, it will pass smog. I have plans to take care of it by the end of the work week.

- I have never had an issue with the cooling system when driving the car. Although I never driven it "hard", I have driven to Phoenix, AZ and back with no issues.

- Regarding rust. Previous owner had a wide body kit on the rear quarter panels. Where the wide body was bolted on, there was some surface rust, but I have sanded it down, and sealed it.

- No leaks from engine, tranmission, nor cooling system.

- Yes, this 240sx will align to factory specs.

Sorry about that, I was hit in the rear, it was a slow 7-10mph hit. Bumper support is there btw.
