I posted a few days ago that my clutch had a delay. I think I figured out what it was. My clutch pedal has been sticking alot about 3/4 of the way up. and it has gotten worse. Whenever I get on it hard, it does not do it, but if i casually shift it tends to stick. Is there a spring behind the pedal that I could replace to make the pedal kick out to it correct position? I think the clutch ate itself away when it sticks, cause now it doesn't catch in that spot like it use to sometimes. Like it grinds at times when I change to third. But I have to push my pedal in a little more (more than where I normally push it in for the other gears) for it to go in. Help would be gladly appreciated.

You have a hydraulic clutch, if it is sticking it's likely because of trouble with the clutch itself. "Springing" the clutch back into position wont solve your problem.

Grinding gears isn't always a clutch problem. Mine tends to have a rough 3rd gear, but I suspect the synchros. A clutch problem would effect all gears, not just one.

From your description, I'd say start with a good bleeding of your clutch fluid, see what that does for you.

i agree with misnomer, the grinding can be the syncros. iirc, the 240sx trannies do have long term problems, such as the syncros. i've actually gone through one tranny already because of the syncros. if you let your rpm's go back down to like 4k and than shift you shouldn't grind (if thats the cause of the grinding problem).
