i know the low offset would be better for the flush look for the rear, but the place selling these wheels offer the size 17x8.5 in only +40 offset.

they do sell the 17x7.5 in a +22, but i dont think thats wide enough for the rear

you guys see any problems with these?

btw, The wheel is Volk Gram Lights if that matters

At that width with that high offset you start getting into suspension clearance issues.

sorry but if you go with the 17X8.5 with +40, i don't think they will fit. I have 18X8's with +35 offset and they almost touch the spring in the front. I mean it is very very close, you will have alot of rubbing going on.

Get the 17x7.5 +22 all around. The offset is sick, it will look awesome, and 225s are all you need. The only people that need more width have over 250 rwhp...do you?

Oh, one thing though...I can almost guarantee those will NOT fit with Z brakes (if they're the Gram Lights I'm thinking of. Check www.rayswheels.co.jp for fitment info.

I have 57C's in 17x8.5 in the rear and they fit ok. Offset is 40 and I'm running 235's. I have 17x7.5 in the front with 40 offset and I need a 7mm spacer to clear my z brakes.

I had to roll my fenders but they do fit, just not flush. I also have coilovers, I don't know if they will fit with stock suspension.

it wont fit.. trust me
mine is 17x7 +40 offset and they barely fit..
i have 1cm gap between my wheels and my coilovers

I may be getting some Volk SE37K's fairly soon and was wondering if 17 x 7 1/2JJ x +30 or +40 x 4 114.3
These are goin on a S13 FB, and are gonna be clearing Z32 calipers, which offset should i get for the best fitment and the best *flushness*, do these numbers look good to everyone else?
Thanks:D

for best "flushness" you want 17*7.5 +15 or so. You can get away with +20 or +22 (on 7.5" wide) and looking flush, but you won't get that JDM tyte style unless you go +15 or +10. :)
I'm running 15*7 +5 and that's just about perfect! Effective offset in front is -1 (using 6mm spacers to clear brakes) and in the rear I have 16*8 +36 with a 3mm spacer (can't get f-ing studs off to replace with extended studs!) and it's not nearly flush. I'd say I need 15mm more neg. offset in the rear, making it about +20 or thereabouts... on an 8" wide wheel, that is. so 7.5... yeah, +20 or +15.
