Ok guys I'm curently swapping the diff on my s13 and have dropped the old one out. Problem is I can't fit the new one back in between the axles( They have that protruding nub). Is there some sort of trick to get them back in? All of the how to threads and videos seem to skip this part(I'm guessing because it's really simple).
Cheers.

What year and vehicle did the diff come out of?
Check out this site, it may help

Im assuming the flanges match the output shafts so you may need to raise the rear tires to fit your vlsd diff

Thanks fro the reply.
I Have an sr20de S13 with r180 and I'm swapping out for an r200 from an sr20det s13. The halfshaft flanges match the output shafts 2x3(6 bolt). It fits the rear cradle perfectly but it just doesn't seem like there is enough clearance to match up the flanges. Figured there is a trick to getting them in. Will raising the rear wheels give me more space?
Cheers.

The axles can compress a little, push one out of the way for now to get the diff in, then compress and realign the axle afterwards.
