Angry at Ebay!!!

So I posted about 10 items on Ebay for sell, all of which were car parts that I sell on my web site. And as usual, I use 7 days auctions and they were supposed to end tomorrow. Then today, after 6 days, Ebay deleted all my auctions because I said on the auctions that if the buyers are paying with Paypal, they need to pay 3% more. Paypal is just too costly and I can't pay for all the fees and maintain a profit at the same time, not to mention that Ebay isn't cheap either. And they couldn't have told me earily, they wait until the second last day! So I am pretty angry at them.

I need to find some other ways to sell my products and steer away from Ebay.

Yup EBay sucks. Im sure this never would have been a problem until they had to monopolize it even more and obtain Paypal. On top of the fees for Ebay and Paypal you can expect a 5-10% fee on whatever you sell. Such a rip off.

I get wholesale on computer parts through my biz and we tried to sell some flat panel Sonys for hella cheap and they charged 23$ EACH monitor on top of the listing fee and whatever else they charge. I don't see how people make any money on Ebay.

That was their policy even before Paypal, though... if you were to ask for a surcharge for any other payment method your auctions would be ended as well.

It's all too easy for ebay to just ignore their responsibilities on dead beats, also very easy on the pay pal side too.

They just sit back and rake in the fees...

Oh.. dont get me started on paypal.
I bought a bumper from a jackoff on this board a while ago. Paid $75+shipping. I got refunded the shipping, and he said he sent it COD. Then next morning, a frickin FREIGHT TRUCK came, and said the COD for the OVERNIGHT FRRIGHT from Cali to FL was $192. Refused shipment, and went through paypal. After 30 days, they said "We find the seller at fault, and attempted to recover your $75. We have recovered $.48." Yes. I got a credit card refund of FOURTY EIGHT CENTS!
Arg! Paypal has access to a bank account and a credit card. Why couldn't I get my other $74.52 from the guy?

The sad part is, as much as everyone hates them, everyone still uses it, since there really aren't too many ways around them considering how widely used they are.

yeap eBay sucks. they screw you over so many times.

what you could have done is kept the e-mails of those people who bidded on your item and e-mailed them afterwards.


the sad/true fact is that you simple can't sell those items as fast/easily anywhere else. I sell about 500 items a month on eBay and i hate them, but if it weren't for eBay i wouldn't be able to pay for my stuff. =)..

paypal sucks nutz too, they can freeze your acct's and take money out and pretty much assrape you anytime they want. and their customer service sucks!
