Beginning of next year ill be moving from Dirty Jersey to Tampa Florida!!

Im stoked! Warm weather, awesome town, hot chicks.

But whats the Drift, Auto X, and road race scene like??

The scene is okay. Once a month there's a Nissan meet, and every once in a while there's a Nissan BBQ at one of the local parks.

And the local board is TampaRacing.

My best advice about TR is to register, browse, and post occasionally. The board is full of idiots.

im on TR to kick the dirt and entertain myself, and offer advice on the proper way to do things. i havent been out to any tracks yet. and whatever you drive, dont let anyone know where you live, florida is a sunny place for shady people. other than that, pack up the rubbers and get ready for the dirty south!

Damn fellas you guys make Tampa to sound horrible! But im searching for drifting events and they are slim to none in florida. So im thinking about trying to start my own when. would anyone be interested?

I would be interested. closest event i can find is held in southern orlando.
CFRC has a new slab of concrete and has been holding events regularly

id be down for some tampa events, if the course setup is decent and driving fee is reasonable
theres not shit up here in the panhandle.

South Tampa here. TR is indeed full of idiots lol, but its the place to get things done. It is the place to buy / sell / find anything you need in tampa. There are so many idiots because its so heavily traffic'd. At any given time there are about 500 + people online. The for sale / wtb section has about 3 pages of new threads / posts a day.

There are events down in South Florida but that is a drive for you Tampa guys. Those Full Auto Events should be decently close to you guys. Desoto had events I don't know when the next one is or if they have them anymore but I believe they do and CFRC is more or less a skidpad but I heard its decently fun.
