is that going from completely full tank to empty, then filling up, and dividing mileage traveled by total gallons refilled? In other words, is this for a full tank?
25mpg+ isn't unheard of by any means, and it's all about how heavy footed you are. 25+ in city driving is pretty darn good, though. Also, keep in mind that S14s have pretty huge tanks (~17.5 or some such), so getting 350-400 miles isn't really uncommon.

350 miles per tank is unheard of with a 270+ hp SR motor.
And S14 tanks are 17.2 galloms.
At 4psi on my KA-T, I got about 20mpg city.

With my dinky s13 tank I will be happy to get 300 mile to a tank. But that is on 14lbs of boost and I am pretty heavy footed getting in and out of traffic. If you stay out of boost you can get pretty good mileage (like that will happen:rolleyes: :D )

(edit: forgot to quote: this is in reply to Jeff)

You doan know nothin'!
What if he's not heavily boosting? What if he's running pretty lean? So I was off by .3 gal.... *slap*
Either way, I RULE! I'M GOING HOME SOOON!! :D :D :D :D

So, anyway, if you're running 7 or more psi and getting those numbers, as well as running it somewhat hard, I'd check A/F to ensure you're not running too lean.

Optimum fuel economy is acheived when the A/F mixture is lean, but not lean enough to cause detonation.

im actually running very rich
and i forgot i did do a couple of runs over the weekend at 1 bar, i filled up today 15.25 gallons gas light had been on for over 30 miles, i seem to question the capacity of that tank, the gas light usually come on at 2 gallons correct?

but to answer your question it was stock boost for the previous tank with some quick run exceptions
after this tank im going to set my b setting at .95 and see how she burns

fyi dont let your friend fck with the duty setting when you not in the car, on 495 he was hitting 1.8 bar, thats just rediculos and dangerous

Crezzy!
I have found that the S14 idiot light comes on pretty early - ~2.5-3 gallons, while my S13's light comes on about 1.5-2 gallons.

As far as that wicked fuel economy....
Do you do alot of freeway driving?

well its really mainly 45-50 for 20 miles with 4 stoplights, once i hit tysons 10-40 with about 8 stoplights, so i would say pretty break even for city and highy coming to work, i work 11-730 so i miss most of the stop and go traffic here in northern va

if i recall i got over 400 coming home from heavy throttle, but i dont remember too well

i go to va tech a lot so i can get a good estimate on that later, knowing me though especially now with the valentine one, ill be at high boost and cruisin:D
