I already know, repeat, I already know what all the plugs are for the lower harness on a redtop SR20DET. I know where each wire needs to go.

I am looking for the OEM wire colours for these plugs if at all possible.

I inherited somebody's crappy wiring project and it's not a big deal to run my own wires or make a new lower harness, but I want to find out what the problem was that caused the engine fire.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. All of those are 96 zenki S14 lower harnesses which I can find in the FSM.

I am looking for the OEM wire colours for th S13 redtop SR20DET. I know it is a long shot.

So far I'm working backward on the lower harness.

For the VSS, I have no idea what colour they are supposed to be on the SR lower harness since the VSS was swapped.

For the reverse light, the wires are so dirty/damaged that they both look black.

VSS is yellow/black and yellow/red I think, reverse light is green/white. They're the same colors as a US S13.

Russ, on the engine harness, there are 2 cylindrical connectors. Each has one single wire. One connector is red and the other is yellow/red.

The yellow/red wire connects to pin 3 on the ECU. Apparently you use this to check the tach reading.

I haven't found where the red wire goes yet. Probably a power source.

Do you know where the check connector for the #1 coil pack is?

The red wire goes to a grey plug with pink cover near the battery. The wire comes back out of the grey plug as a red/blue wire and goes back somewhere into the engine harness.

i want to say the red is an ignition pulse because it ties to one of the red wires going either to or from the ignitor. i noticed this on a harness i was relooming not to long ago. and yes the other wire is tach output.

The grey plug is a resistor plug and the red wire is the #1 coil signal.
