how thick(tall) are s13 motor mounts? my friend can make solid aluminum motor mounts for me for cheap i just need to know what size it is. need to know what the height is under some load though cause im sure it would make a difference if i made it too tall.

Just jack up your motor and remove a motor mount and measure it..takes all of 10 minutes tops.

I have made solid mounts before...I think they are like 2.25" tall, but if you make them a little shorter you lower your center of gravity.

New, OEM, uncompressed mounts are 69 millimeters tall.
Not all are the same though.
It doesn't really matter, just depends on how high you want your motor to sit.
Solid mounts feel terrible and super annoying though, unless you are hardcore.

Should definitely consider Drift Freaq's mounts. They're perfect. They lower the engine. Practically no unusual or annoying vibration. Soon as I get some extra cash flow I'm buying a set.
Only gripe about them is they're yellow lol.

He's a member. Seach the for sale section. I'm sure he still has a set left.

just found them lol
i think im going to test build some of my own solid mounts cause i know my dads friend has a lot of solid steel and aluminum bars laying around. also has 1/4" walled rectangular tube which might work for this as well...
