so i have the ka, and i drove 300 miles fine got home and car was fine. drove the car maybe 10 miles and started noticing some misfiring and a bit of white smoke. i pulled into a gas station then the smoke got heavier. white smoke i know it coolant and right now i just want to get some feedback if anyone has ever had this problem before. there is no coolant in the oil at all and i do see a lil bit of wetspots towards the back of the motor!
i know i could possibly have a cracked head. but ive also heard that it could be major head gasket leak. or the engine was rebuilt and the old head bolts were used, or warped head.
if you have had this problem before get me some options as to wat i should do!
thanks

I have

pull the plugs and check them for which ones are wet.
but sounds like in the end you need to
pull the head
Mill the head
Buy a NEW OEM head gasket and Head studs
and Install per FSM

My ka did the same thing on my way to work a long time ago. i was at a red light, proceeded on green, engine started misfiring, then i look at my rearview mirror and see ALOT of white smoke so i pulled over quick...ended up being a blown headgasket.

more than likely a blown head gasket. pull the plugs. if you want to see what it is. do a leakdown test on cylinder #4. that will tell you whats up.

i have already pulled the plugs. and i know the coolant is in the #4 cylinder. so you guys are saying more then likely a blown head gasket? about how much is it to get the head milled? but wat r the chances of it being a cracked head?

youp
its like $30 to mill a head
most machine shops can check for cracks on it too.
I think i spent like $115 on replacing my head gasket, And that OEM parts too.
