ok so last week i decided to redo my fuel guage since it wasnt seal good and i could see and smell little fuel coming out of the fittings. when i was done redoing my fuel guage the car started to run a rich so then i lower the fuel guage to read at 36psi. now my a/f guage reads around 12's and 13's when driving but would sometimes run around 14's to 15's. it would run really rich on idle, around 10's and 11's.
before i re-did my fuel guage it would run fine. i dont understand how a fuel guage can mess up everything or could it be something else?
btw, i have 740cc tomei/nismo injectors, nismo fpr type B w/ adapter and of course a fuel guage.
will i have to redo my fuel guage?
who knows or have been through this?
Thanks in advance!

"fuel guage" as a a/f ratio guage? unless its a wideband, those things are just idiot lights, they flash back and forth and are not accurate. Its like the factory temp guage, by the time you find out, its too late.

no, fuel guage as in my fpr set-up. its the guage that reads how much gas is flowing, not the a/f guage (wideband). or unless i messed up what i wrote.

so you adjusted the FPR is what you are saying? well then that would be your problem, put it back to the way you had it.
cheers for having a A/F wideband though, there is people older then you that have no idea what they are for. It all depends on your build, but 11 isnt bad, neither is 14, but 10 is boarderline and so is 15.
Note: I'm not this far in my build, but have you gotten a tune?
edit: whats our fuel setup? pistons compression? fuel type?

well, even before i adjusted the fuel guage it would running rich sometimes which is weird because when im driving it, it would run 14's to 15's and then drop down to 12's for a while and then back up to 14's and 15's. weird rite?
i still dont understand how it would run richer than before even when i lower the fuel pressure
i have a enthalpy tuned ecu and had it eversince i got my motor done.
i have a wal-bro 255 fuel pump, nismo type B fpr w/ type b fitting for my kade, tomei/nismo 740cc injectors, arias piston compression is 8:8:1, and just running regular 91 fuel and many more.
btw, a wideband is a MUST and im not turbocharged atm
