If it wont turn over your clearances are wrong, I have never rebuild a KA, but i rebuild my SR(3 months ago) and i had to order different grade bearings from nissan, i ended up returing those(had a spun bearing on the 3rd rod) and getting ACL bearings have had all my journals honed to the same size so i dont have to mess with all the different bearing grade nissan does... but its is something to do with your clearences, are you using moly assemble lube?

the fsm said use a thin coat on motor oil it spins freely when the bolts aren't torque but as soon as i torque one its really hard to spin

make sure your bolting the Main Caps correctly as in not fliped around backwards, they will only bolt down one way

i would get get some motor assembly lube, alot better than a "thin layer of motor oil" when you trying to build oil pressure when you start the motor that "thin layer of motor oil" will work but i wouldnt risk it, a few seconds without proper lubrication can cause alot of damage...
