Sup guys! I have a s13 redtop with an s15 t28 turbo. Finally got that car running and everything but when i really step on it and start building boost, its not a smooth acceleration, its hesitating and hiccuping. Someone told me it could be the gas im using ( i first used arco then went to cheveron and used 91 octane at both places) or that it could be the ECU because it's not tuned for the t28. Im new to the SR20 and really need the help! Thanks in advance bros!!!! peace

Need more information to really help you.
But, check your battery ground and make sure it is a good ground and not loose.

do you have a boost gauge? if you're not reading as high as normal, check for boost leaks

how much PSI are you pushing,
S13 with stock ECU and INJ with a T28 should not go over 10psi
Check your base timing and test your intercooler system with a boost leak tester.

dang lots of possibilities, i havent gotten a boost gauge yet so i wouldnt know how much boost im pushin out out, and naw i havent changed the plugs yet, i left the same ones in cuz they looked pretty damn good! i shoulda changed them anyway tho. all the intercooler piping is on tight like crazy. are there any other areas that can cause boost leak??? i cant think of anything else that can cause that problem! thanks for the replies tho much appreciated!

awesome, thanks fellaz for the input, it was the spark plugs, it was the last one towards the back, it looked like it was chewed on and cracked, i got the ngk 6's, when i pulled them out, they were the ngk iridiums with a weird part number but they were 8's nonetheless. kinda weird on a stock setup. when i replaced em and started it up, there was a sick ass knocking sound, but i revved it couple times n it went away. then a piece of the white part that got in the valley and made a tinkering sound in the engine but now went away, i hope it didnt score anything on the inside. but i'll also check the timing too! thanks again dudes!!!!
