Alright, so im new to Zilvia. I have a 93 hatch, Dohc. My hatch started bogging when i would revv past 2.5K and then it just finally died last night, i tried replacing spark plugs, checking voltage, and a few other things, but nothing worked.
If i try to fire it up, it starts, then few seconds it starts to bogg and dies. I cant keep it running for more than a few seconds.

It leads me to believe the injectoers are messed up because afret i try cranking it, i get a smell of fuel coming from somewhere by the intake manifold.

check spark plug wires

try cleaning MAF sensor

Cleaned MAF, I did take off the vacuume line going to the valve cover and put a small filter on it... would that be it?

I was going to say vacuum. 90% of the issues with any of our cars is that kids fuck with the vacuum. once its fixed most engines will run like champs

spray the area where u hear the noise with carb clean and see if u get a change in the idle of the car. is so then u kno for sure u got a vaccume leak

Well now the engine wont start, so i cant check it if it doesnt idle. I replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor. and added some coolant. the car gets spark, and gas, but it doesn't fire. i think that it began running rich until the car finally flooded and it doesnt turn over. Damnit, i need this as a daily.....

while it's not starting..., is a good time to check the ecu for codes
tip: whenever your vehicle starts acting odd, don't just replace parts! exceptions are fuses, bulb, and relays etc.
Not turbos, ecu's and harnesses...harness's... harness!
plugs, wires, cap and rotor can be inspected, most replace these items during maintenance while vehicle is running well.

You're problem sound like a vacuum leak\ mafs problem but timing could be off now.
check codes, get it start check timing.

Quik question. how can i check codes? im not too familiar with ecu diagnostics. are you talking abut getting an obd1 reader and see what code(s) it throws?

i checked to see if it was throwing codes, but it didnt. it said 55 = no malfunctions in above circuits. im at loss... im going to check vacuum lines, fuses and fuel again to see if i missed something....

So its fixed..... it was my fuel pump, replaced it with a New High Flow one, i got my Adjustable FPR being shipped, and now all i gotta do is change my oil.
