I have a near complete 5 speed conversion for this car!
-z31 Driveshaft
-z31 Transmission
-s13 clutch pedal assembly
-NEW OEM s13 clutch master cylinder
-NEW OEM z31 Clutch slave cylinder
-NEW Stainless Clutch line [runs from master to slave cylinder]
-vg30et MAFS**
-vg30et turbo manifold, oil feed, oil return, banjo bolt
-vg30et exhaust manifold w/ 02 dump
-vg30et heads [good condition]
-vg30et spare parts engine COMPLETE but blown!

MODIFICATIONS NEEDED TO PERFORM 5 SPEED:
-chop the yolk off OEM m30 drifeshaft and weld onto z31 driveshaft
-modify neutral positioning sensor
-Modify OEM s13 Clutch pedal to fit in m30 [very easy if you have a torch and patience]
-MOdify OEM m30 transmission crossmember to work with z31 trans.


and voila, you have 5 speed m30. SUPER RARE! I think there are only 10-15 in all of USA!

-weld yolk from oem driveshaft to z31 driveshaft OR get a one piece aluminum one made!
-modify the transmission crossmember
-modify s13 clutch pedal to fit. it bolts it but is a bit flimsy.
-s13 clutch master bolts right in! no fab work needed.
-modify the neutral positioning sensor on the OEM m30 harness.


pretty much the same process with making an s13 5speed from auto, with having to modify the clutch pedal, cross member & driveshaft. Any driveshaft shop can do this easily with a 24 hour turn around period.

What version of the VG30 is this? Car looks great, I'd love to have it. I'm in NorCal till Monday, not sure how I would go about getting it back to KY though. I'd considering driving it, but if it's anything like the VG30DE in my Z32 there's no way in hell I'd drive it across the country with 140k on the odometer hahaha.

The Version That came in the car from factory.

vg30e, single came, automatic. The only option for the m30 int he states.

of course japan was different. they offerent the vg20det and vg20et.

Those seem to be much less of a pain in the ass than the DE. I thought that's what came in these, but the plate on the engine threw me off.... looked like it said VG30 and then something else, but I'm guessing it says V6 3000.

Yes. V6 3.0 Liter SOHC VG30e. it's comparable to the engine that came stock in the 1989 300zx turbo of course without the TURBO lol.

I also have all the parts to convert it to turbo, minus a few minor things that can be found cheaply.
