well yea, i have had the car for about 2 weeks(but getting little things fixed so only really a week) and this nite was the first time i've driven in the rain, and i live with many turns and hills, and hills with turns, haha and i live on a ridge, o god was it hard to keep it under control with my sohc, i can't imagine what it will be like when i get the sr20
just thought i'd share... anyone else have experiences like this when they got theirs?

just takes some getting used to, ecspecially if this is your first rwd car. go slow, real slow if you have too, no sudden changes in steering, braking, or accel, key words: be smooth. everything takes time to get used to,
makes you wonder if you really need an SR huh?

RWD takes a little adjusting to after you have driven a FWD car. especially in low traction conditions.
Just remember that everything you do to make your car faster in the dry can hurt you in the wet- I just added tein S tech and kyb adjustable and it stiffened my car up quite a bit but it slides easier in the rain, too... same with stabilizer bars, same with adding more power...
the advantage of handling stuff is that it makes your handling more predictable. but, basically you need to chill out in the wet or you are gonna wrap it around a tree.

not long after buying my car i let the rear end out during a turn, when the road was wet from sprinklers. most of it was from crappy tires, and not being used to it.

first day I had it, and it was raining. I take this corner at a set of lights to get to school. Im used to it in my old car (1988 isuzu Imark turbo) or my parents cars (all front wheel drive)
so i can safely hit the gas right in the middle of the corner
not in the 240
i forgot it was rwd and did a 360 right there in the middle of the road!! It was hilarious! Thank god no one was around
you only ever do that once accidentally
enjoy the grip on dry pavement.

I am pretty much used to the rwd thing for haeing the car nearly a year. But I realized that in the rain the car just wants to spin (if you are not careful). Every now and then I would drive around town seeing if I can go faster on certain left curves and such. I did this one time when I was going to church and it was raining and I done a 360 degree turn. There was nobody around, but it was scary as hell.
