Ok guys and gals its offical Borderline drift is now open.
The schedule is as follows
Wed 5pm-12am, Fri & Sun 10am-10pm
Prices are $15(hour for driver)
Spectators$5(includes ride alongs)

Basic Tech inspec required.
So come out and have some fun and slid you car.:2f2f:

Pretty cool track. I drove it and feel really comfortable doing the figure 8 and oval. Cool for novice (me). My friends say it was boring since they are a lot more advanced driver than I am. Definitely a little intimidating for my other friends who were beginners. ha ha ha

Im no beginner and I love it.
guess you need to choose your line.
I try and get as close to the walls on entry and exit as possable.
if your not taking any line or clipping points, i could see it being boring.
Or maybe its just not thier cup of tea :)

will be going in the morning... expected to be there around 11am. I'll probably be there for two hours. still got other things to do that day. but two hours of drifting sounds like fun! Castro, Karl, make it out there. Lets have a fun little mid day sesh!

hey guys hope to see you guys out tomorrow i might drive if i get some rubber on the rear lol and as for the cement there are only k-rails on the straights and i havent seen anyone hit them yet so if you can hold through the bank then you shouldnt have an issue, and as for the boring part jeff jones (fd driver) didnt stop till his car gave out so that must mean something and eric is pretty advanced and has fun as well. AND you can tandem with out cage as long as your consistent karl

i hit them hahaha you were there too.. i was dragging like 2 cones and slid into it fender first. aside from some scuffs in the paint and a cracked sidemarker there was no real damage

i was out there last friday 11/6 in a white hatch.
there was only a few people driving that night.
you, a pearl white sil80, think a ae86 showed up IIRC.. and some honda guys :duh:

me and one of my friends were switching off driving.. i hit the k rail and he went into the hay bales.. still had a blast tho.. ill be out there with my car once i get my diff back from being welded

home sooo soon. had a fun time! ton's of track time it was unreal. Track is a perfect set up for ka's. any low hp cars with have no problem at this track.

so was that the first tandem at this track?

I just went and checked it out... Course is legit like hammy said its perfect for RAW KA power! Its pretty technical and will help you get better!

Try and call P-Funk alot (http://zilvia.net/f/members/p-funk-alot.html) (phill) before you head out to confirm time and availability. They do use the track for karts as well, so just confirm before showing up.

Drifted the track on Sunday, now I'm selling how good it is today Monday.

This track is great in that it can teach you a lot of:
-E brake technique
-Doing transitions
-To not fear the K-rails

Just gotta say that it was pretty fun going out there and running for like 10 mins straight! Thanks sooo much Phillip!!!

Bottom Line: It's a good track that can teach you a lot even if you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran.

its a fun track to do some auto-cross!!!! lol... still waiting on that call grenade180sx...

but overall, its a cool little track to burn some tires on getting used to scrapping haybales or k-rails... just beware of the black ice!!!

Autocross is cool!!! Yeah Ray, you showed that haybale who's boss that day! Not to mention, you punted one of the tall standing cones 10-feet in the air and then had another one chase you to the next clipping point, hahaha =P

And that black ice is deadly....get caught up in it too much and it'll suck your car straight towards the haybales or worse, k-rails.....

And, it was great seeing Mr. Castro out there drifting it up, rear bumper draggin' and all! Great stuff, luv it! :D

you should find out what the part number is for a 350z shell. and ask him about availability. lol

(mazda sent kyle mohan a rx8 shell and it came with an individual part number. kinda funny)

fun track...just bring plenty of tires...you get ALOT of drifting... example..stock ka 2 sets in about 30 min of total driving...non stop drifting! you can link the whole course...over and overf and over..

From what I heard, the airport a stones throw away gave the owner some cash for the extra room the track took. Plus I'm pretty sure if Phil was still promoting this place he would be posting in here a lot more.
