meth injection on sr?

i was just wondering if anyone here was running it and how they like it. and if i was to run a 50/50 mixture of water/meth, how much leaner would i have to go to have proper a/f ratios under boost?

my current engine setup is:

redtop sr (stock internals)
2871 .64 @17.5 PSI(track) - 10psi(street)
550 STI injectors
z32 mafs
rom tune
FMIC, intake, full 3 inch exhaust
megan mani w/ 35mm turbosmart external gate
aeromotive FPR
boshe 023 FP

with doing meth injection i can safely run more boost and timing.....but how much with a stock HG / engine??? thanks for your help guys!

your head gasket and head studs are the weak point. The water meth is not going to keep your studs and head gasket any happier than normal.


And I dont understand why your asking how much leaner you will need to go and how much more timing you will need, tuning is to be done on a dyno, not guessed upon. Try it and see with your own eyes as you tune your car on the dyno. I love every thing about water/meth besides the fact that if the pump fails or the tank runs out your now running way too much boost on a lean engine with too much timing. Its sure to pop right away with the slightest problem with your water meth system.
