Should I take this 240?

So I get this phone call from my sister today.. she immediatly asks "what was that car you're always talking about.. 240 something?". Turns out she saw her friend's father pull up in a 240sx and started talking to him about it (she's into cars too). She didn't get much information on it, but what she did get was that he's been using it as a weekend car.. Not sure if he's owned it since new but he's 40-50ish so it's quite possible. It's a silver fastback, 180k miles!, but he's looking at getting something newer so he's going to be giving the car away for next to nothing. Here's all the facts I've got about it so far.. I have NOT seen the car yet, only my sister has but I do plan to contact the owner and will go and check it out before making any serious moves.

180k miles
Silver paint
Fastback
I asked if it's bumper looked like a pignose and she sounded a bit confused so not sure there. :p
Car needs some work cause it's so old he said.. has rust on the rear bumper.

I'll update with more info when I talk to him and go out to look at the car myself but that's what I've got so far. Just heard about this like 30 minutes ago. So how much would it cost to get a new rear bumper or would that be structural? I didn't think a bumper like that could rust so she probably meant the hatch, could be from the spoiler if it has one. How much would a car like this be worth? I'm sorry for the lack of details, I'll get back with more later.

i assume its either dripped down from around the taillights or...something else

mileage? KAs are pleantiful and cheap. you can always swap in a late model (95 up) KA if needs be. no worries there.

Yeah I fixed that right after I posted.. you've got lightning fast reading skills. She most likely meant that the hatch was rusting, not the bumper itself. Seeing as how they're notorious for rusting cause of those crappy spoilers it wouldn't surprise me. I'll ask her more when she gets home.

My hardbody has a KA in it too, ka24E though with 160k miles. Runs great though and I'd be more than happy to swap it if needed. :p
