HNE
05-14-2003, 02:08 PM
When: June 15, 2003
Time: 4:00 PM
Where: Houston Marquis Center @ I-10 and Silber (Near Van’s Skate Park)
What:
We are trying to form (another) Nissan Owners club in Houston and the surrounding area. For now the individuals trying to organize the club, including myself, have chosen to temporarily name the club HNE after the Dallas Nissan Enthusiasts (DNE). The name will be put to a vote at the meet, and those interested in continuing with the growing process of the club will be asked to fill out just a brief piece of paper stating Name, Email address, address, telephone number, and vehicle type. All of this information will be voluntary, and we ask only that you put down what you feel comfortable with other members knowing. The club will be open to all Nissan owners including SE-Rs, Maximas, Altimas, Frontiers and other truck models, Sentras, 240SXs, 200SXs, Sentras, 300ZXs, 350Zs, and any other Nissan mad vehicles. I am aware that there are numerous vehicles I have not listed, and we would love to have you all. If the club grows fast enough, DNE and HNE have considered already in throwing a Statewide Nissan meet for all Nissan owners in the very near future. Below is a map of the area we will be meeting at for now. If the location proves to be a good general meeting place, we will keep it, but if it becomes necessary to move we will look for a new home. The club will be based on a family basis with meets ranging from attending and hopefully eventually hosting, autocross and drag racing events to family oriented BBQs at local parks. There will be no fees or dues at this time, and in the future may be structured to provided simple services such as a monthly newsletter. Once again, we would love to have everyone in the area at least come out and give us a chance. Houston has the potential to be an amazing spot for Nissan owners.
