i got a fix it ticket and didnt have to go to court.. i think you only go if your trying to fight it. just put the top half back on. go to the police station and show them your ticket. you have to pay like 10 bucks so somebody can come out and look at your car to see that you fixed it.. then you still have to pay like a $25 fine.
done and done
no court
i just threw away some seat belts too lol trash day was yesterday.
i would have given them to you for free
buy mcgarrets b14 seat belts he is selling right now lol
no more automatic. no more tickets

I've never gotten one before, so excuse the ignorance. I have an '89 hatch and honestly got really annoyed by the automatic seat belts so I removed the top half on both the driver and passenger sides. I still have the manual lap belt but still got a ticket to fix it. My court date is coming up this week and I was wondering if any of you had any experience with this and/or have relevant suggestions on what I should do? u removed the top half lol do you wanna die lol do the manual seatbeat conversion
*edit* they do suck alot

The top bracket is incomplete and I removed the motor already =//.. Maybe I can piece it back together..
Found the seatbelt motor and plugged it back in.. Replaced the doors recently so I think I need my friend to solder some wires before they'll work again..
you really dont have to have it functioning.. get the buckle to lock in the back position and you should be straight. they are just going to look for a belt and a buckle.

The top bracket is bare metal now (no plastic bracket).. I think I'll have to superglue it in ghettostatus.. Haha
go to pick a part and snag some for hella cheap probably like 15 bucks
and while your there you can look for some b14 seatbelts hahaha they wouldnt be that much more.. but i have been looking for a clean pair for about a month now in my local yards and i cant find shit..
i think its cuz MrMcgarrett beats me to them all hahahaha
he always comes up on the good shit

i was wondering, since you have a fix it ticket and they need to inspect the seatsbelts, will they inspect anything else like making you pop your hood, exhaust, lowered, etc.??

For one, it's stupid to risk your life because you don't want to deal with your seatbelts.
If you got a ticket for a seatbelt problem then that's all they inspect. Why should they need to know what's under your hood when you are going there for a seatbelt violation?

You have to look up a CHP station online that will sign off on a ticket for you.
Call the court monday and reschedule if you cant make the deadline, or show up tuesday and ask the judge for an extension.
If you get it fixed and signed off, just show the judge the ticket in court and it will be like $25.
if you miss tuesdays court date, ITS $300, so dont mis it.

If you got a ticket for a seatbelt problem then that's all they inspect. Why should they need to know what's under your hood when you are going there for a front plate violation?
thats what I said, and they told me to sit on the curb and shut up.
15 minutes later I was blamed for street racing deaths all over southern California by means of the ,"looks like a duck, quaks like a duck" ruling.
Then I went to work and worked a 70 plus hour week and paid way more into taxes for the state, country and social security than any of those fucks.

Even if the ticket was issued by the Pomona PD?
I thought I wouldn't have to go to court if I got it inspected and the fine paid off by Tuesday..?
the police cant sign off on it.
"they arent trained"
yet somehow give out tickets all day long...........
so you have to go to CHP.
Look on it, it may be to late to mail it in.
or just call the courts.

yeah, i asked some cops not to long ago, and they were fucking acting all but hurt about it.
It was kind of amusing to see them pouting cause they werent believed to be compitent to have the power to sign off tickets.
