PS Racks same from 89-93???

Hey guys, I have a 93 SE with a bad power steering rack and I am looking for a used one to save some dough, a guy offered me out of an 89 and I am wondering if it will work or not since one is DOHC, and one is SOHC. Thanks.

i would think they are the same but i am not so sure.. you tuned a 412 hp turbo ka and many other 240s and you dont know? lol.. jus messing with you psi 240.. hopefully someone will know the answer... where'd asad when you need him? oh yea. he's on fa..

out of curiosity...how do you know it's bad? i still have suspension clunks and i'm wondering if the rack could be the culprit...it's one of the only things left to replace at this point.

i'm just wondering what your rack is doing since you say it's "bad"?

as for fitment, i believe all non-HICAS S13s have the same rack. i think the only difference with the SOHC cars is the lines themselves, not the fittings.
