Yeah I have been thinking about doing the famous SR swap, but now i don't know. My friend is trying to convince me not to do it. He thinks that if the 240 was meant for the SR it would of came with it i I know it did in Japan. But he thinks that I am gain to have nothing but problems. Also that i will get not traction with then engine even with LSD. There is a 91 Eclipse he wants me to get instead with all wheel drive. This would be the cheaper route, but i am going to have to take a loan out either way. This has just happened over the weekend. so i am trying to figure out what to do. Any input would be appreciated. THANKS

SR20DET is 100% illegal in all states of the United States. its a risk. go eclipse.

SR is illegal in all states
you get caught by cops..you lose your car forever and probably face fines
at least a eclipse is 100% "street legal" (depending on mods)
