I was just wondering because I'm put my engine build on hold to work on the suspension so I can have some fun while I'm building the engine. I'm not really all that confidant in bringing my car to an auto x event with the stock set up , even though I'd probably do fine.

I was planing on overhauling the suspension anyway so I'm doing now instead of later.

I'm looking into getting their rear chamber adjuster, front & rear sway bar, traction rods, pillow tension rods, adjustable toe arms, and front & rear lower control arms. All that for $1000, but their coilovers don't sound like they'll meet my occasional street driving needs so I'm still looking for so coilovers.
so any feedback on godspeed project suspension parts positive or negative would be greatly appreciated.

got their sway bars, those are fine, but if you are gonna do autox youre going to want to look at class specifications, it would be a bad move to put all the aftermarket suspension pieces on your car that move you into a class where you wont be competitive. make your upgrade choices based on the specifications drawn out under the classes or youll be competing in an open class where you will be stomped on.

I'm running all that plus the Godspeed type-RS coilovers and I'm extremely happy. People just like to bash.

they are very cheap, but everyone tells me to stay away. But no one has actual experience with them.

yeah i like to bash on them. why cause i've rode on them before.

for the people who never had better coilovers then godspeed they'll never experience anything better than that

comparing to megans, teins and my stances. i dont like them they have a shiitty ride compare what i have.

but get whatever you want. if you never experience better coilovers before once you upgrade you'll never go back

i'll pick stances and DG-5's over any of those anyday. they seem to have a good and feel to ride on them. d-max's pbm's and the rest i dont have any experience on them but i'll wait until someone around me has the and i'll see what it feels like. before i judge them.

They're cheap coilovers. They're not meant to ride well or perform well. All they're meant for is a drop in height and people have even complained about them not going low enough. The suspension arms are poorly made, have been known to crack/break, and their joints should be thrown out.

I personally would rather stay with a stock suspension setup than waste money on a suspension setup I wouldn't be satisfied with and not be able to get my money back on.

Do some research on suspension setups. Read reviews.

actually i agree and disagree. I have had many cars with many set up and the god speed products are not bad and to be honest i think they have a better feel then teins but thats just me. i have a track car that has all godspeed products on it and it does fine with no problems and i put my car through hell literally lol there priced well and are over all decent products. people bash them cause there cheaper in price.

Its coilovers...everybody has their own preference. Some folks may like this crap, some may not. Only way to really find out is ride in somebody's car with that coilover.

People say if it's too good to be true it really is. I have first hand experience with this pure shit. I saw it at a warehouse up in L.A., It comes in by the hundreds all rusty, shitty ass lead laden spray painted parts with even shittier welds and the most horrible pillowballs you have ever seen.

The welds I saw on the toerods scared the shit out of me. The bolt was tack welded on(very sloppily I may add)To the mount it didnt even go through the other end. That part was just screaming to fail taking a sharp corner.

Their other parts are terrible as well, the swaybars weigh a shitload, the RUCAS bearings were the worst I had ever seen in my life. You couldnt pay me enough to ride in a car doing a hotlap around a circuit with this crap on the car. As for the coilovers to be truthful those I didn't have a chance to look at so I cannot comment. All the other stuff pure deathtrap.

If you don't have the suspension, STFU. I have the Godspeed Type RS coilovers on my car. They're nothing short of amazing. I drive them everyday on the stiffest setting and the ride isn't harsh at all. I also go on the weekends to the Texas canyon and drive through the twisties. Hugs the road like a Porsche. For the money, they're excellent. The next time anyone wants to bash something that they don't have or never tried out, go kill yourself.

the hilarious part about this thread is that most of the responses are talking about coilovers, and he asked about multilink and swaybars, BUT NOT the coilovers.

i have experience with ALL of there muti link as well asthe coils.

so far i cant find any problems, i track my car EVERYWEEK @ adams and there products have held up great. i have spoken direct with them on any issues that became a concern such as the ride height adjustability on there coils and it was addressed and redesigned.( im just waiting for the new designed ones to put them to the test.

id recommend there product to anyone who is on a budget. feel free to PM me with any questions.

Personally I would buy stance, PBM, or KTS. Godspeed is like ebay stuff. But I guess it's all up to you. It's like buying knockoff. You never know what your gunna get with them. Some are good some are bad, inconsistancy. With a name brand product you get that assurance of consistancy.

I really don't like when people ask about a certain brand, because every single brand has been covered so much.

but wait... wasnt megan ebay stuff and now look how big they are?

and yes i agree with grenade, i have most of there stuff too. if i was on a budget id buy em but even on a competition level they will perform just like all the other stuff.
