If anybody finds the time can they confirm that this is the idle drop issue from venting bov to atmosphere? I have the redtop with greddy fmic stock turbo, greddy rs bov vent to atmosphere and an apexi neo (i know , i know) installed. Im running almost 14.0 air/fuel according to an AEM UEGO, until i use throttle then im rich im in the low 10.0 range. Im just wondering if i recirc my rs will i correct issue with idle bog and air/fuel.

Sorry man, that video makes it way too hard to hear what's going on.

A video from the engine bay would be much more helpful.

Ill see if i can get to it. As of right now im going to go ahead and order the greddy recirc adapter and replace a faulty silicone coupler. Ill see if that helps...

that sounds exactly like like idle drop from atmosphere venting the bov.
to make it clear, you floor it and let off the gas and idle drops to like 400 rpm and comes back up to normal, right?

It's normal for that to happen, if that's what's happening.

On a MAF car, you will be spewing some fuel and bogging worse, because the air that is escaping is metered.

On a MAP car, it can still drop, but nowhere near as bad, and won't run rich, bc the pressure in the manifold will be correspondingly adjusted.

Also could be your IACV. Regardless you should still recirculate you BOV. Otherwise you will always be running a little rich.

Hey guys! I have a very frustrating problem with my SR. I installed a Greddy type intake manifold and my car idles at around 2k rpm and it never drops, not even once it warms up. I have checked for vacuum leaks, I pressure tested it, double checked every hose and sensor on the car and everything seems fine. However, I still cannot get the rpms to drop below 1700 rpm. I messed around with the tps sensor a little bit and it does not seem to work either. Oh, I also checked the grounds too. This is the first thing I ran into with my blacktop that I actually cant figure out no matter what I try. I need major help, this crap is driving me insane. If anybody has any good information to share please do, Thanks...

So, I installed my custom made GReddy Rs recirc fitting and routed my 1 1/2" (HUGE) hose to factory intake connection following the MAF. IDLE sits pretty at 855 rpm. Amazing diff. once i release throttle my rpm drops perfectly. Thank you everyone.
