I found a 1990 q45 with 130,000 on it and in excellent condition in and out. BUT, it can't be titled! The guy might sell it to me for 3,000 as a parts car, is it worth it?

As a parts car nothing is worth more than a grand, period. That thing, $600 at most. The potential to make money is always there but you have to look at up front profit, you *may* make back the full three grand after a few years of sitting on all that shit, but the headache of it isn't worth it.

Man I bought my running and working clean title s14 for that much... If you have to even ask yourself usually it is not worth it.

90 Q's are not that special. 3k for it without title is pure insanity. Like Russ said its worth around $600 max without title. In California lost title does not mean you cannot transfer the car. Though still its only worth about 1k-1500.

As stated, without title defeats the whole purpose. You would probably have a hard time parting it out to make a profit off that price too. Don't do it!
