The hot wire going into one of my front turn signal light plugs broke, and I was wondering if these types of plugs can be repinned?

I looked all over, and I cannot find out where to buy it (or if you even can), since it is a part of the harness....

For an S14 btw.....you'll notice I don't have enough wire to work with to re-solder or splice it....

Thank you for your help.

EDIT: Ok, Courtesy Nissan did not have them, but WestCo may have them?

Can someone confirm that this is the same plug:

a bit confused: do you need the pins in the end to recrimp onto the wire harness and put into the plug?

but you dont have enough wire length to work with because itll be too short ot reach the signal housing?

1) i could say if you want the pins radioshack should have them i got stuff for my s13 there.

2) another idea is take a plug in your own car not in use depin it and put it on those wires.

3) lastly find a junk car and ask them to cut the plug off with an excessive amount of wire and work from there.

i know its not the answers you wanted maybe someone else knows better but thats what i could come up with right now.

No....basically, I am not sure that you can take the pin out of the plug and reconnect the wire to it.

The wire broke right near the end of the plug (see picture), so there is not enough left to solder/splice.

So, other than buying a new plug, I am asking if there is a way to take the pins out of the plug and reconnect them to the wire.

Same as any other OE plug. Pry out the center retainer, the blue part, then pull the pin out with pliers. Needle nose preferably. They don't always come free easily when they're that short, but try it.

If it breaks, you can order the pigtail through the dealer IIRC. The Type X lights *should* use the same plug, but verify first. Mike would know for sure.

Thank you for the tip. It looks like WestCovina sells the exact pigtail I need.
