has anyone seen this article on sr20hybrids?

DIY clutch box removal (http://sr20.hybrids.jp/installations/clutchbox/index.html)

is this a worthwhile mod?? if you remove the clutch box, where the hell would you bleed your cluthc from since the bleeding valve is on the clutch box. it would make the system simpler, but then.. i have no idea where to bleed the clutch system.

YES do it!!!!

if you dont when you change your Clutch MC or Slave Cylinder, youll be bleeding FOREVER!! i tried... i read on FA a guy's mechanic, took him 3 hours to bleed the clutch!!!

its scary to bend it but it works! :) bleeding the clutch is SO FAST and easy now! :)

btw, does anyone know how much the nismo clutch line cost at the dealership?

get the line bender tool at your auto shop. its 'safer' then using a open ended wrench like i did..haha..not fun :(

the tool should be pretty cheap i assume...i am going to get on next time. :)

i couldn't bleed my system after trying for probably an hour. it took me maybe 5 minutes after i removed the damper with no adverse side effects. DO IT

Plus you will get a more direct pedal feel when you remove it. It's like night and day between my fastback (damper box) and my coupe (no damper box). Plus you can bleed the whole system with three pumps of the pedal instead of 3 hours. DO IT!!!!
