I am someday going to turbo my ka24e, yes i know, its SOHC, but i will soon have 3 of them, and im building one for turbo. Anyways here is what im looking for in a turbo.

-Pushing 200-240HP at the Rear wheels
-None or virtualy no turbo lag
-Low RPM boosting, (aka quick boosting)
-Dependable, Open to the abuses of drifting

I was thinking along the lines of a S14 T28 or a T3 from a Saab or somthing. Also how are misu turbos?
NOTE:
And yes, i searched (take that you "USE THE SEARCH FUNTION WHORES") and i found nothing but "The Best KAs" and "SR20 VS KA24"

from what i have learned so far (what im gonna do in a year)
i would get a T3/t4 hybrid if i were you. i dont think turbo is dependable at all unless at low boost below 7psi.

a friend of mine runs T28 on his prelude and that bitch lags. i dont even wanna talk how much he was bitching about not getting a bigger turbo.

Just saying he has a T28 doesn't mean much. What turbine housing? turbine A/R? compressor housing? compressor trim?

You have to be specific.

Most T3/T4 hybrids are going to be TOO BIG for what Oni wants. Also expensive.

An S14 T28 won't lag at all on a KA and will provide the power he wants.

So an S14 turbo would work good? And were in the range of 200-2400 would i be in, i dont really need the much power, i just want it to be dependable and i will build this engine for turbo as well as i can, and try to get stuff to make it flow great, and say cool. IMO i would rather have a car with 200RWHP that ran great and rarly had problems, than a 450HP trouble maker

Anyways, any other choices, also what else is good about the t28
