brake lights wont turn off

hey guys.. i dont know but for some reason my brake lights are always on even with the keys out and everything off.. what can this be.. i unpluged the switch for it for now but i need brake lights or a cop will stop me and give me a ticket.. how do i fix this

if unplugging the switch fixes the problem, then replace the switch.
