everytime I watch saving private ryan or pearl harbor, I start bawling like a little baby. dude, war is so ****ed up, why are people so ****ed up, why are countries so shortsided and ****ed up?
why is the world such a ****ed up place?

yea, i know how u feel. Saving private ryan is sad as hell, especially omaha scene. But a great philosopher once said

saving private ryan is a saturday morning cartoon compared to "grave of the fireflies" and "A thin red line"

If you really want to bawl, watch grave of the fireflies!

"thin red line" sucked SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much ass. I was all hopped up for a fight scene and then they cut to a sunset on a beach! WTF! Stupid fluffy films.

Welcome to the real world. There are many evil people in the world and when they take control of millions of other people, the rest of the world has no choice but to go to war. Sometimes the only way to get to peace is to go to war.

Kinda...80's i think. Roger ebert went so far as to call it one of the greatest war movies of all time.

Saving private ryan is the best movie ever!! I love that movie! good acting, good filming, good everything! Yea ... wat sucks, but that movie is the best!

ps- I cried in titanic.... yea I know!
