hi, i just purchased a greddy oil filter relocator used and i was wondering about the lines as far as from the plate that goes to the block vs the plate that the filter screws onto. i was wondering if it was center line to center line outside line to outside line. i kno its a stupid question but id rather be safe than sorry..

That's how I hooked mine up and it made the most sense to me. Oil pressure is reading perfect so far and its been on my car for almost a year now.

Look up how a oil filter works and you will know, into the sides dirty and out the middle clean/filtered.
Just make sure the oil follows the same path with the new setup.

What oil filter did you go with? Did you use the stock size filter or use a larger filter? I just installed my Greddy oil relocation and was debating on the filter. Before the relocation adaptor, I used Purolator L14477, but will be going with the K&N HP-2005 (Purolator #L24466.) The filter is about 25% larger in size. (Found this information on another 240 forum.)

The part number for the Fram filter is PH2870A if you are interested. Here is the link I got the information from:Larger Oil Filter for the SR20 and KA24: 240SX Technical Forum: Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub (http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/62768Are) Are you using any type of aftermarket oil pressure gauge? If so, what port did you use? I'm installing a AEM oil pressure gauge and I'm not really sure which one to use. (There are enough of them I will say. LOL) I'm sure it doesn't matter, but thought I'd ask anyway's...If anybody knows for sure, please share....Thanks...

im using an autometer electric oil pressure gauge. i have mine screwed into the left port on the plate where the filter screws onto. the right port was way 2 big for the sensor to plug in to. i may look into using the larger filter tho.
