I have a suspension question. First thing. I would like to know if it is wise to have two different types of struts on the front and the back. For example. If i had KYB gas in the front and the KYB AGX in the back. Second thing.. Really how much difference does the KYB AGX when they are adjusted. Thirdly , I'm looking to have my s13 have a more agressive look, but i want more handling characteristics than looks. What springs should i look at?

the adjustability of the agx's is great. they range from "like oem" to "shooting nails up your butt." i'm now addicted to adjustabilty. i'll never go back!
i've got tein s.techs on too, and those lowered my s13 nicely. not slammed, but no longer the 4x4 look. handling is very nice with the s.techs and agx's.
i'll post pics one of these days

Not sure what you mean by kyb gas, the agx's are gas shocks, maybe you are refering to gr-2's, I wouldn't get gr-2's they are pretty much a oem replacement. But as far as the agx's, they are great because of the adjustability. Depending on how much you want to lower your car will help in determining how the ride will be. For example: I have the agx's with eibach sportlines which lowered my car about 2.2in, and there is very little suspension travel, and even with my shocks on the softest setting they are no where near as soft as the stock shocks were, but with maybe the prokits there would be more suspension travel, and the ride will be better. So pretty much both things work together when determining how the ride is going to be.

for pics of the sportline drop check out the link in my sig.

Hope this helps
