I thought it was the turbo timer that was broken and keeping the car on, but i went to disconnect it and it still won't turn off.
When i take the key out the ignition the car stays on and you can even drive the car without the key in the ignition. The only way i can turn the car off is by disconnecting the cam angle sensor and i also have to disconnect the battery cause all my gauges stay on like the car is still on.
Can anyone help me out??

i had a similar problem with one of my ecu's.

basically sent it out to r.s. enthalpy to get checked out.

turned out that my ecu had some chips burnt or w.e. possibly from someone reverse jumping starting the car (crossed pos. and neg) or some other situation unknown for.

it also locked my key in. basically wouldnt realease it.

i had to switch ecus to get the key out and release it.

i would suggest contacting someone who works with ecus maybe they would have some better input.

hope this helps.

i would have to agree with him. it sounds to be entirely an engine management issue

ECU.

My cousin had a short in the ecu, re-sodered it so the car can start. Now the car can't turn off after it gets turned on, only by pulling fuse. We gotta look over his ecu again and clean up the soder job.

You burned your ECU and have a short somewhere in your wiring.

The EGI fuse is what is keeping the car on.

Try pulling that fuse and see if the car turns off.
