View Full Version : Hard start issue when hot :(
can someone pls help me. i have a 97' 240sx, greddy turbo kit, ams external manifold, aem standalone ecu. car drives awesome idles fine.. then i go to turn her off and come back 5 minutes later.. and she won't idle afterwards. she starts up good, then jumps around from 400-1000. i go to try to give it some gas and she stalls out. what can i do?? i don't have a maf, it's converted to map. so what do you guys think??
could it be that it's flooded?? at idle, my aem wideband shows from 12.8-13.2.. people are telling me it's too rich.. so is it possible that when i turn off the car.. there is still a lot of fuel??

I would say bad CTS. Check the FSM for the testing procedure for it. If bad replace.

Agreed. My ECU's temp sensor's plug had jarred loose once and was impossible to start when warm.
A bad temp sensor could cause the same issues.
