Gonna run 17x9 +15 offset all around. 215/45/17 streched on them. Too unsafe?

hahahahaha
do it
but be prepared for uncomfortalbe ride and the risk of stretched tires (popping off, letting air out and bad in rain)

I can understand you running the stretched tires because you needed tires and got them for free.
But you want to do it on purpose for daily driving? Have fun in the rain, dummy.

sigh the bad info is horrible
they arent bad in the rain
its the CAMBER with nitekids offset that's bad in the rain
excessive camber in the rain is no fun
but nitekids: remember winter is justa bout over. so no worries. cali rocks. sunny skies.
i would do it
but i highly suggest gettign another set of wheel (*cough cough GTR R33 wheels *cough cough) with normal tires on it for swapping/everyday/bad weather driving.
jdm rice runs VERY VERY STretched tires DAILY and no problems
just have to be a better driver
i dont see you guys making fun of richard for his. and his are MUCH worse (more stretched)

I believe it's b/c Richard has yet to post pix of his car on Zilvia.net. He hasn't complain much about it other then that he can't get them loose drifting.

wow, have you guys ever tried running stretched tires before? i doubt it....i've had stretched tires on my old car and it was never about to pop off and didnt handle that much different in the rain.......
alot of my friends run 215-40-17 on their 17x9 rims....heck, i know someone who runs 195-40-15's on a 15x9 rim.......they've all been running that tire size for the past couple of years now daily driving and what not and there's been no complications yet...
i'd say do it
