any old 3" piping is fine. no cat if you wanna destroy the ozone for a little extra sound. that's how i roll

no need to get a "nice" "name brand" downpipe, or exhaust system for that matter (in my opinion)
If you can find an exhaust shop who has a mandrel bender and 3" piping then just get one custom made. If you're set on no cat (and never are gonna run one in the future), then you can just have them make the downpip longer so it bolts straight up to ur catback
or you could just have them make you a whole turbo back exhaust if you buy the muffler(s) you want and let them do the rest

^^that's pretty good (cheap). I've got pretty much the exact same thing on my car+flex pipe, and it hangs really low. It might be cuz i've got an RB...but I plan on getting one custom in the future so i can lower my car without destroying my exhaust/turbo

Usually I'm a name brand idiot, but I went with the project nissan model. Been working great for the past 3 yrs. Normally there all the same except the "cobra" types.

My megan elbow->isis downpipe had to be forced together because the bolt holes didnt line up exactly, turned into a pain in the ass, or maybe I fucked it up...

I have an Apexi GT spec downpipe. It looks very good but I think an ebay downpipe is cheaper and will do the job properly, no need to waste your money.

Im kind of afraid of having a 100% solid exhaust system. However i have solid motor mounts too so thats not a problem, it only becomes a problem if i bottom out which may happen lol

Maybe more mandrel bent pipes now, but about 3 years ago, there were only a couple, but yes....

I had clearance issues with the megan flex downpipe. Might be because of my nismo motor mounts. The flex joint was touching the floor of my car.
I wound up selling the megan flex one and going with the blitz. The blitz is of a much better build quality. I am going to eventually put a flex after my cat converter.
